Study Abroad

with me in Rome!

Would you like to take a course with me in Rome, Italy? I often teach Statics and Mechanics of Materials in the summer at John Cabot University, an American University in the heart of Rome.

We have a fantastic Study Abroad program for American students that want to visit Italy. Come walk in the footsteps of Caesar at the Roman Forum and Colosseum; enjoy gelato as you walk the ancient cobblestone roads to the Pantheon; and grab take-away pizza to enjoy al fresco.

You'll benefit from a small class size, this website, a zero-textbook cost course, and a professor who is equally passionate about teaching and engineering!

Financially speaking, this is one of the best-priced summer Study Abroad programs around! The Summer I application deadline usually falls in March, and the Summer II application deadline usually falls in April.

Classes run Monday through Thursday, and students often use the long weekends to travel across Italy by train, or fly to Spain, France, Austria, Croatia, and more!

If your home institution happens to be Colorado School of Mines, begin the application process here.

I hope to see you in Rome! -SR
